The moon leaves as do we

Dawn emerges over the Tetons. Inside the camp dining hall, kitchen staff bustle with breakfast. Lights flick on in the dorms as students confront suitcases that need to be zipped shut.
The moon is down to a sliver. An indescribable indigo runs from dark to silver and the pine trees on the ridge do their dance. Coming, going, we are on our way back to the east in a few hours.
